Who is responsible

Neuralquest is a research and development company based in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, and is the business responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us about any privacy matter at info@neuralquest.com.br.

What we collect

• Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us (identifiers and the content of your message).
• Access logs. Our hosting provider and Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site, automatically record technical data when the site loads, such as IP address, date and time, pages requested and browser type (identifiers and internet activity).
• Preferences on your device. The site remembers your language and theme in your browser’s local storage. This stays on your device and is never sent to us.

The site itself sets no cookies, uses no advertising or analytics tools, and has no forms. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technical cookies to protect the site. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information.

Why we use it

• To answer your message and assess a possible project.
• To keep the site secure and working, and to prevent abuse.

Data from client projects

If we work with you on a project, the data you share with us is treated as confidential and used only for that project. Before work starts, we agree in writing how that data is stored, who may access it and what happens to it when the project ends. The rest of this policy applies to it as well.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. It is processed on our behalf by the service providers that host and deliver the site, including Cloudflare, and handle email, under terms that limit how they may use it, and it may be disclosed when the law or a competent authority requires it.

Where data is processed

We operate from Brazil, and our service providers may process data in Brazil, the United States or other countries. By writing to us you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in those places. Cloudflare serves the site from data centers around the world, so your connection may be handled in any of them.

How long we keep it

Messages are kept while the conversation or business relationship lasts and are then deleted, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Access logs are kept by the hosting provider and Cloudflare for the period each applies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, state privacy laws such as the CCPA may give you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access, correct or delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing, which we do not do. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We may need to verify your identity, you may use an authorized agent to make a request, and we aim to respond within 45 days. Visitors in Brazil have the rights granted by Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD), and visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have the rights their own laws grant. All of them can use the same address.
